The Singer Owners Club
of New Zealand has been in existence now for over 20 years. It
was formed in 1987 as a result of the efforts of a dedicated
small band of enthusiasts in Christchurch. Nowadays it covers
the entire country with around 100 members "from North Cape
to Bluff".
The club's aims are simple-
to encourage the preservation, restoration and the use of Singer
cars, cycles & motorcycles. These are accomplished by organising
events for members, providing spare parts (including re-manufacturing
them when appropriate) and providing an interchange of information,
both through local "nog 'n' natters" and our award-winning
colour newsletter
The club also organises
a national rally on a bi-annual basis- the last few being held
in Taranaki, Nelson & Greytown. The next one is due in 2010
